This is definately my best night so far. I made a ton of money, and I'm not really sure how I did it. No regulars in, no generous friends. A bunch of lawyers came into the club, and I think one of them spent $100 on me, if not more. He liked me so much because he thought I was "the only intelligent girl in here."
While dancing is firstly a look-based industry, there are so many other factors deciding on how much you make. But personality is huge, and intelligence isn't that far behind. Maybe the stereotypical dumb blond is popular with some people, but in general I have faith that men want a woman who is as intelligent as they are. And I'm sure you can imagine the vapid conversations some of the dancers keep up.
But at the same time, men don't want to date strippers, they want to look at them. A stripper doesn't need to be intelligent to make the big bucks at the club, she just has to be cute and be a good listener. So really, when I find a guy who appreciates a stripper with a mind, it's a lucky day for me.  ¶ 4:59 PM 1 comments
