So You Want To Be A Stripper
My net worth: $157

When I first decided I wanted to start dancing, I did a little bit of research online on how I could prepare myself. I've decided to share my knowledge with you.
First, you really need to buy a pair of shoes. Not just any shoes, but special stripper shoes. Platform stilettos and clear!

I got a pair of black ones, which are very pretty, but, alas, they don't always match all the fun outfits I could wear. And on that note...
You'll need many different colored thongs. To start out, I would go with two black, one white and maybe one colored thong, probably red.
As for outfits, buy a simple one to audition in and wait until you've chosen a club before doing any more shopping.
Now it's time to scout out clubs in your area. See what the girls wear, are they big into costumes, or does the club require you to wear long gowns? What style of dancing is it, mostly floorwork? Are you allowed to kick your leg over the customers head? Do they have stationary or spinning poles or no poles at all? What type of girls work there and what type of customers come in. Of course everyone wants to work at a high class club where they can make the most money, but you have to be honest with yourself and whether you actually could get a job there. The club I'm at now doesn't accept every girl that auditions, but the first club I worked at basically gave any decent looking girl a job. Go into the clubs, see when they hold auditions and go for it!
Once you have a job and know the style of the club, you'll want to buy a few outfits before you start working and practice. Not really the actual dancing, that's easy. But walking in the shoes, getting you dress on and off gracefully, you'll probably want to try that a few times.
Finally, take a deep breath and get ready to shake your money maker!
